Anotace
The Myth of the “Green Hell”
Since it was built in the 1920s, the North Loop of the Nürburgring has become a racetrack full of surprises that commands respect. The experts spoke of it as the “longest and most difficult course in the world”. For “difficult” read “deadly”. Niki Lauda’s horrific accident brought an end to the use of the North Loop for Fomula 1 racing in 1976.
Nonetheless, the legendary track has lost none of its fascination. Every weekend, private drivers love to put themselves to the test, enjoying the thrills that only the “Green Hell” can provide. Motorsport fanatic Stefan Bogner has now re-discovered the North Loop, capturing its magic forever with his camera.
