The development of the Favorit had to start on all fronts at the same time and proceed in parallel. These were days rather than weeks, with regard to deadlines, the so-called first good one had to be worked on. What was extremely important was the inclusion of the car development in the category of state task. In the economic system at the time, the final producer was normally in the position of supplicant to subcontractors. In state task mode, accessories manufacturers had to be handy to the finalist, so to speak. It wasn't that simple and objectively necessary to say that the technological level of the cooperating enterprises was often at a significantly lower level than the automaker was at. That is why the investment earmarked for the next damage bill has also been partially distributed among some businesses in order to be able to deliver the necessary parts. For the automaker, that meant finding more compromises. Imports from abroad, mainly from the West, were only an option in extreme need.
