Large-capacity V-twins have always been the Harley-Davidson trademark, and the company has produced many trend-setting cruising bikes. In these, style has always been a vital ingredient, and the Glide series which began in 1949 with the Hydra-Glide and went on through the 1958 Duo-Glide and the 1965 Electra-Glide established a very special style.
